Are you currently accepting new clients?

Yes!  Please contact me  to schedule a free consultation.

How long does a session last?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length.

What can I expect in the first session?

The first session will be an opportunity for you to tell your story and to get to know your counselor better.  Any questions you have about paperwork and the therapeutic process may also be addressed at this time.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, Credit/Debit card, and HSA accounts are all acceptable forms of payment.  I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network.  I am considered an “out-of-network” provider for other insurances.  Out-of-network means that you pay the hourly rate up front via credit/debit card and then file with your insurance company for direct reimbursement.  I will provide you with a detailed statement at the end of each session to use with your insurance company.

Is what we talk about confidential?

Absolutely!  The law protects the confidentiality of communications between a client and a counselor.  No information is disclosed without prior written permission from the client.  There are a few exceptions to this rule, such as duty to report when an individual expresses intent to harm himself/herself or others to the proper resources.  This information is reviewed within the first session.
